Actress leaves estate to children

Recently released probate records have revealed that the actress Susannah York, who died last year, left an estate worth around £2.7 million, reports the Daily Mail.

Miss York began working as an actress during the 1960s, and was best known for her roles in Battle of Britain and They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?

The majority of her estate was left to her two children, but her will also left a number of smaller legacies, amounting to £86,500, to friends and other family members.
